USYS Eastern Regional Champs!

 

It is with GREAT pride that WMUSA is able to celbrate the incredible success of the 2003/04G Premier team lead but Coach Steve Small and Tim Leyland.  The team not only had an incredible Spring Season where they captured 5 Tournament titles, but also crowned themselves as State Champs!  Furthermore, the team just recently travelled to West Virginia to compete in the USYS Eastern Regional Championship where they asserted themselves as the best of the best and won the Championship match 4-1 against Massapequa Ladies Select!  The team now moves on to compete in the National Championship!!  Congratulations to all players for becoming the FIRST EVER WMUSA team to win the Regionals and advance this far in this competition!  Good luck in Nationals!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2022 COACHES & TEAM MANAGERS AWARDS BANQUET

This past June, West-Mont Untied S.A. took the opportunity to say "thank you" to all of the dedicated coaches and team managers across our Intramural and Travel programs.  The Club hosted an Awards Banquet on June 17 and handed out awards to many of the coaches and managers.  The list of 2021/22 winners can be found below:

  • Intramural "Coach of the Year" Awards:

    • Most Improved Male – Damon Clark (BU7) 

    • Most Improved Female – Carmen Tomovcsik  (U19)

    • Coed Male – Ron Trimble (U19 + BU12)

    • Coed Female – Sarah King (U15)

    • Male – Jim Melwert (GU8)

    • Female – Evelyn Sarnes (GU9)

  • Travel "Team Manager of the Year" Awards:

    • Zone 2 Girls – Nina Ricevuto

PLAYMETRICS SUPPORT

As the Club moves away from TeamSnap and towards the use of PlayMetrics for all program registrations, there have been many of you with questions on how to create an account, how to add family members, and how to use the mobile app.  Below are a few links to help you navigate the new system and hopefully answer some of those common questions.  

COMMUNITY & MARKETING

For the last few months, the staff at WMU has been working very hard to remain actively involved in our community, and also in promoting the club and the various programs we have to offer. 

Below are a list of community actiivites that West-Mont has committed to for 2022/23:

 

 

 

 

  • Philadelphia Sports Raffle - the club was able to raise over $8,000 for our Financial Aid program through this fundraiser!  We'll be doing it again this Fall!
  • Participated in Gift Card Bingo hosted by Limerick Township Parks & Recreation in April & May 2022
  • T-Shirt sponsor for the Rudolph Run hosted by Limerick Township Parks & Recreation on December 10, 2022
  • Sponsoring the Trunk or Treat event hosted by Limerick Township Parks & Recreation on October 22, 2022
  • Partner for US Youth Soccer's TOPSoccer Spring program to provide buddy volunteers to support community-based training and team placement for young athletes with disabilities Click here to learn more.
